With one week until Election Day, over 23-hundred people have voted early so far in this year’s general election. That includes nearly 320 people who voted early in Vincennes, Bicknell, and Monroe City.
So far, 202 out of 306 issued mail-in ballots have come in, with another 60 set to vote today and tomorrow before a traveling election board. Early voting continues in Knox County in the lobby of the former Work-Release Building across 8th Street from the Knox County Courthouse. The early votes will be taken from eight to four through Friday, and eight to noon on Monday. Also, vote centers will be open Saturday from eight to three at the Vincennes location, along with others in Bicknell and Monroe City. A week from today in Knox County, 13 vote centers county-wide will be open for voting from six a-m to six p-m.
