The North Knox School Board has approved submission of an estimated 18 million dollar budget for next year to the state Department of Local Government finance. The budget contains around ten million dollars in Education funding, as well as nearly six million more in the Operations budget.

The final tax rate, ince adjusted at the state level, should come in around 50 cents per hundred dollars in assessed property value. That would be a slight rise over recent years, but would still be among the state’s lowest property tax rates.
Board members approved the submitted 2027 North Knox budget unanimously.
