Applications are being accepted now for the annual PACE Energy Assistance program. The program provides a one-time credit for your largest source of energy for heating your house each winter.
PACE’s Courtney Welage says as a rule, they usually give out all the money they receive each year. Welage reminds everyone a number of verification documents are required as part of the application process.
The maximum credit is 300 dollars directly to the utility company. In addition, PACE officials expect nearly a two-month waiting period before the assistance is sent out to eligible families.
