Vincennes residents can drop off large, unwanted items free of charge from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Republic Services on North Second Street.
Accepted items include household furniture, mattresses, large toys, carpeting tied in three-foot bundles, and appliances that do not contain chlorofluorocarbons or hydrofluorocarbons.
Residents must bring a photo ID to verify Vincennes residency.
