Christopher A. Burtch, 56, of Robinson, Illinois passed away with family by his side on October 4, 2026. He was born in Robinson, Illinois on October 9, 1969, to Mark Burtch and Brenda Miller. Chris graduated from Newton High School. He worked for 29 years with Hershey. Chris was an avid sports enthusiast and card collector. He was a member of several leagues for bowling, darts, and pool. Chris was proudly inducted into the St. Louis Bowling Hall of Fame. In his early years he enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and track. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Stealers, Chicago Bears, Nascar, late models, and sprint cars. He will be deeply missed.
Chris is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lyman and Patricia Burtch; maternal grandparents Bob and Freda Goodwin; uncle Steve Weber.
He is survived by his sons Trevon Burtch and Brayden (Sabrina) Burtch; mother Brenda Miller; father Mark (Mary) Burtch; grandchild Cleo Unterreiner; siblings Ayron (Melody) Miller, Adam (Jenny) Burtch, Shane Burtch; mother of his children Sharon Burtch; aunts Becky Weber, Kim (Ed) Webb, Patty (Tony) Weber, Amy (Kevin) Short; uncles Terry Goodwin, Randy (Susan) Burtch; niece Aubrey Miller; and several cousins and friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Burtch. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
