The Lawrence County Illinois Board has approved an application for a solar plant near Littlers’ Creek. That location is about three miles south of Bridgeport.
The work will be done by the group Azimuth Renewables. Azimuth will now begin planning for the installation. However, no actual construction will happen on the site until the company provides a full site plan, and de-commissioning plan, to the Lawrence County Boad.
