IN-DOT closed US 50 in Martin County today for a slide repair project.
The closure is three miles east of Shoals where the temporary stoplight is located.
Work is expected to last through mid-October, depending on the weather.
The official detour is U.S. 50 to State Road 37 to U.S. 150.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
