Students and teachers at Otwell Miller Academy wore blue Monday to support 8-year-old Oaklie Disney, who was seriously injured in a deadly crash in Pike County. Students also made cards for Oaklie, who remains hospitalized. Disney and the other people involved were returning from a Girl Scout trip to Holiday World when the accident happened.
Three people were killed and three children, including Disney, were injured in that head-on collision on State Road 64. Oaklie’s mother said her daughter suffered significant injuries and could remain hospitalized for several days.
