Just as promised, the work on Hart Street at the U-S 41 interchange is completed either at or just after the first days of school. INDOT prioritized that, due to traffic streaming to and from Lincoln High School being just east of the intersection.
Also, Vincennes leaders are happy at the improvements. Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove loves the new sidewalks added to the area. Grove also knows the job INDOT did on that stretch wasn’t easy.
The work is part of an overall sweeping improvement to U-S 41 between the tri-level U-S 50 split, and State Road 241 near Decker.
