Construction zones—and construction workers—are everywhere around the area this summer, as various road improvement project dot the area. With that, drivers are reminded to use extra caution in work zone areas.
Mike Fisher is with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. He reminds everyone slowing down in those zones is good for you– and the workers,. Fisher also gives a friendly warning about increased enforcement in those construction zones to ensure slower speeds.
Construction worker safety was—and continues to be—a major point of emphasis during this year’s conistruction season.
