Move-in time is here for occupants of the first part of the Bierhaus Flats Subdivision on Bierhaus Boulevard. The planned inhabitation is into the first of four parts of the over 200-unit apartment complex.
At last night’s Knox County Commissioners’ session, Commissioners president TJ Brink called it a “huge opportunity” Brink reminded everyone the idea for more housing first came up in the 1990’s. However, it was brought to major focus by a survey done a couple of years ago.
