All Vincennes eyes are on the Fourth of July celebration in less than a month in downtown Vincennes. Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove says this year’s Fourth of July celebration will actually start on Friday, July third. Among the Fourth of July weekend highlights is the display of the Memorial Wall in downtown Vincennes. Grove feels it is something worth visiting that weekend.
The cornerstone Fourth activities are also in place—including the annual Fourth of July parade. That will be on the traditional Vincennes parade route this year. Finally, at dusk on Saturday, July fourth, the annual City fireworks display will light up the night skies over the Wabash River.
