The Vincennes City Council has approved on first reading a set of rezoning requests to take some properties from commercial zoning to residential. The requests are part of a development effort to start some new single-family residences in Vincennes.
Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove knows there is a need for those single-family homes to join of set of proposed apartments in the City. Grove has confidence in the various developers to build attractive, useful homes for occupation.
The City’s residence development boom is part of an overall plan to help Vincennes workers live in the same place they work.
