KC Council to Consider New Vehicles for County Highway Department

The Knox County Council will consider a request for a set of vehicles in the Knox County Highway Department. Department officials are requesting a couple of dump trucks, and a set of pickup trucks, due to the age of the current models.

Council members heard the request, and decided to consider it during their 2027 budget hearings in September.
