North Knox High School will stay in-house to replace the retiring Steve Meurer. North Knox assistant Jessi Parker will take the head coaching position for the 2026-27 season.
This is Parker’s first head coaching position. She is a 2002 North Knox graduate; along with coaching with Steve Meurer, she also was coached by another legendary North Knox coach in Rick Marshall. North Knox ended last season with a loss in the Greencastle 2A semi-state to eventual state champion Pekin Eastern.
