The Rivet Patriots reversed a 2-0 deficit with four runs in the 4th and 6th to defeat North Central 4-2.
Brody Shots and Jayden Thacker combined to strike out ten Thunderburds in the game. Thacker got the win in relief of Shots. Miles Holka had a big sixth inning RBI to secure the win for the Patriots.
A grand slam from Sophia Cleghorn led the Vincennes Lilcoln Alices to an 11-1 victory over Bloomfield. Mia Hagood was the other star at the plate, with a 3 for 3 night and two runs batted in. The win is the 16th in a row for the Lady Alice softballers.
Vincennes Lincoln defeated both North Knox and Vincennes Rivet in a three-team track meet. The Alices had 76, compared with 55 for the Warriors and 22 for the Patriots.
Alice winners were Aiden Fleetwood in three events, with one-even twins for Peyton Laue and Raymond Sumerville. The 1600 and 3200 meter relay teams were also winners.
