The Indiana Department of Transportation is closing in on the start date for a large project on U-S 41 from near Vincennes to State Road 241 near Decker. The work will close down one lane of traffic in each direction for the entire construction season.
INDOT spokesman Gary Bryan says the whole stretch will get a fresh coat of paving, and other needed upkeep. INDOT will also install another U-turn intersection at US 41 and Industrial Drive. Bryan says that project will combine with the 41 repaving work.
Drivers are reminded to use caution around work zones throughout the sum errand fall construction months.
