The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced lane closures in both directions on U-S 41at and south of Vincennes.
The work will stretch from just north of the Wabash Avenue overpass to a half-mile south of State Road 241. The work will be done on weekdays from six a-m to nine p-m. It will run from May fourth to October 28th.
The work will allow for a one-lane alternating restriction in the area. Among the work during that time will be a reduced conflict intersection, left turn lane constriction, resurfacing, and ditching.
Once the road work begins, drivers are reminded to watch for both lane reductions and construction crews.
