The Vincennes University Board of Trustees heard a timeline and cost estimate for planned renovation of both Godare and Vanderbuigh residence halls. The combined project is estimated to cost around 35 million dollars. At this time, bids for Godare Hall work would begin in September of this year, with Vanderburgh Hall to be bid out in September of next year.
University financial consultants seek a bond issue for the entire project. They feel the debt service will be low enough to allow the project to be comfortable bonded. The University is using Gibraltar Design to provide the layout for the renovated residence halls.
