The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain individuals who are wanted for criminal activity and are in the country illegally.
Sheriff’s officials have stated that this agreement enables deputies to arrest such individuals without having to wait for federal agents to serve an immigration warrant in the county.
