A national provider of so-called “robocalls” has been shut down for good.
Attorneys general from seven states, including Indiana, shut down the operation. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said John Spiller ran voice service companies that made billions of robocalls nationwide.
A court ordered Spiller to close his businesses, banned him from starting new ones, and required him to pay $600,000 in penalties to the states involved.
