The Indiana Senate has unanimously approved a bill, that in part, tightens the state’s oversight and accountability with government contracts. One of the co-authors of the bill is Jasper State Senator Daryl Schmitt; h he points to the bill’s improved transparency for larger state contracts.
The measure now heads to the Indiana House for further consideration and possible approval. If the House passes the bill, it would go to Governor Braun for possible signature into law.
