Vincennes University Campus-Wide Open House is Oct. 2

October 2, 2018 @ 8:00 pm

Everyone is invited to a Campus-Wide Open House at Vincennes University on Oct. 2, 5 to 8 p.m. EDT. The free event offers visitors an opportunity to explore the wide variety of programs and majors that VU offers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The first stop for Open House visitors is the Jefferson Union Student Center, 1379 N Chestnut St., adjacent to the Physical Education Complex. Light refreshments will be available in addition to campus maps, lists of academic majors, and other information. From there, visitors can easily walk to the various campus sites participating in the Open House.

Vincennes University offers more than 200 programs of study through its six academic Colleges, including Business, Information Technology, and Public Service; Health Science and Human Performance; Humanities; Science, Engineering, and Mathematics; Social Science, Performing Arts, and Communication; and Technology.

“Those attending the Open House will have time to visit with the dedicated faculty and staff who make VU a great place to learn and prepare for rewarding careers,” said Ty Freed, dean of the College of Technology. “Employers and other educational institutions value the preparation, skills, and knowledge base that our graduates possess.  This is evident in the positive feedback we receive from our industry partners, employers, and transfer institutions.”
