March 31st will mark the one-year anniversary of the F-3 tornado touching down at McCormick’s Creek State Park in Spencer, Indiana.

The Friends of McCormick’s Creek have been assisting the DNR in recovery efforts, financially and by volunteering.

The Friends of McCormick’s Creek 5K Run/Walk is one of the group’s most popular fund raisers.

It is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, with an 8:30am start time.

$25 entry fee. $30 the day of the event.
