Dubois County Museum and Strassenfest

August 1, 2019 - August 4, 2019

The Dubois County Museum welcomes visitors to the museum for the 2019 Jasper Strassenfest.  Here is a listing of programs and exhibits scheduled for the Strassenfest.

 

Thursday-Sunday, August 1-4 Jasper Strassenfest.  Special displays.

 

Thursday, Aug 1—Exhibits open of Complete Sets of Strassenfest Mugs, Buttons, and Programs. Museum open 10am to 2pm.

 

Friday, Aug 2—10am to 1pm Old German Script translations of your German Script items by Marilyn Nathan. One page limit free; more for a donation to the museum.

View Exhibit of Added Military—Civil War through the Cold War 1945-1991. Museum open Friday 10am to 2pm.

Saturday, August 3 Museum open 10am to 4pm.

11am to 1pm—Old German Script Translations of your German Script items by Marilyn Nathan. One page limit free; more for a donation to the museum.

1pm—German Jewels at the Dubois County Museum. Janet Kluemper reveals special artifacts of the Museum that are of German provenance or influence.

2pm—Former Army Chaplain Fr Micheas Langston, O.S.B. speaks on “I was there when the wall fell.” See his many artifacts.

 

Sunday, Aug 4—Museum open 1pm to 4pm. See all exhibits.

1pm  to 3pm—Old German Script translations of your German Script by Marilyn Nathan. One page limit free; more for a donation to the museum.
