State Road 57 in Greene County will close near Newberry starting on or around Monday, November 2nd.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the closure is due to a bridge deck overlay project on the White River bridge.
That project was delayed so local farmers could finish their harvest.
Work is expected to last through the end of November, weather permitting.
The official detour is State Road 58 to State Road 67 to State Road 54.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
