Vincennes University is expanding college access across Southern Indiana.
The university has secured a nearly 1-point-71-million dollar federal grant to continue and expand its TRIO program — Project ASPIREE.
The five-year grant provides 341-thousand dollars a year to serve 683 students in Daviess, Martin, Sullivan, Lawrence and Pike counties — adding full services in Pike and Lawrence counties.
Project ASPIREE offers free, year-round guidance to help students and adult learners prepare for college, technical certificates, and trade careers.
