The Knox County Highway Department will start its fall Community Crossings Matching Grant paving on Monday. The work is set to continue through at least Monday, October fifth.
The first work will be held Monday on Hickory Corner Road from State Road 241 to State Road 61. Work on Tuesday of next week is scheduled for a second day on Hickory Corner Road, and also for Tower Road. Overall, the Hickory Corner Road is scheduled to take three days to complete.
Road projects in the South Knox area will run through September 24th, with the North Knox area scheduled to start Tuesday September 25th through Monday, October fifth. The schedule is subject to change, due to weather and other unforeseen factors.
