Vincennes University’s Surveying Technology program has been awarded a 25-thousand dollar national prize for program excellence.
The program won the award for two-year program courses; it was given by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. The group’s aim is to advance licensing for surveyors for the health, welfare, and safety of the communities they serve. The award jury honored V-U’s program for transforming the program to a comprehensive hub serving a wider student population.
Along with V-U, the winner in the four-year surveying category was Texas A and M’s campus in Corpus Christi.
