This is the final day of this round hydrant flushing for Vincennes Water Utilities workers. Tonight, the flushing will happen along State Road 61 from Tower Road to Kimmel Road; Hart Street from Kimmel Road to Tower Road; Main Street from Felt King Road to Henry Sievers Road; and and Elkhorn Road form Old Decker Road to Essex Wire Road. Also, flushing will happen in the Bloebaum Subdivision.
The work is planned from eight tonight to four tomorrow morning. Those in flushing areas may see a drop in water pressure, of some discolored water, while flushing is happening. Tonight ends the three-week late summer hydrant flushing period.
