Morgan Carter was named as the 2026 Knox County Fair Queen last night at the Vincennes University Pavilion. The 18 year-old Carter is the daughter of Brad and Elizabeth Carter of Vincennes.
Iva Summers was first runner-up, with Chloe Decker as second runner-up. Third runner-up was Lauren Candler, with Samantha Ferguson as fourth runner-up. Carter was named Miss Congeniality, with Natalee Rickard named as Miss Photogenic. The Penny Schuckman Memorial Scholarship winner was Jayna Althoff.
Carter will now serve as Fair Queen throughout the week of the Knox County Fair. She will also complete in the Indiana State Fair Queen pageant next month.
