The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is making people aware of an arrest scam that is making the rounds across the area.
Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin says his department was informed after a woman called, because the information just sounded fishy, If you get a call asking for bond money for an arrested relative, Department personnel urge you to hang up and report it to the Knox County Sheriff’s office.
