A Pike County jury found a Petersburg man guilty Thursday of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
Prosecutors said the jury also acquitted 59-year-old Lloyd Coleman on a related methamphetamine possession charge.
Sheriff’s deputies found eight firearms at Coleman’s home during a 2025 search.
Sentencing is set for June 30th.
Coleman could face two to 12 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
He is already serving a six-year Pike County sentence for violating probation tied to a 2017 methamphetamine conviction.
