In baseball:
Vincennes Lincoln gets a four-hit shutout from pitcher Justice Johnson, as part of a 6-0 home win over Jasper. The Alices also got two runs batted in from both Cooper Collins and Nash Ransom in the victory. The Alices plated two runsi nthe first, second, and fourth to secure the win.
In softball:
The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices win it in the bottom of the seventh, as they defeat Jasper 6-5 at Four Lakes Park. Miley Carie-Fredrick led the way with a 2 for 4 night, with two runs batted in. The Lady Alices got o 18-2 on the year with the victory.
The South Knox Lady Spartans defeated North Central 21-3. Cala Charleston and Makayla Carie had three runs batted in each in the win.
In tennis:
The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices lose 5-0 to Jasper.
In track:
The North Knox girls Track team took the Blue Chip Conference title last n ight at North Knox. The Lady Warriors won with 152 points, 13 better than Barr-Reeve’s 139. South Knox was third with 73, while Rivet was fifth at 63.
All-Conference winners for the Lady Warriors included Emma Telligman, Alyssa Chattin, and the 400 meter relay team. This is the second straight title for the North Knox girls.
In the boys’ meet, the Warriors were fourth, with 63 and a half poins. Top finishes for the Warrior boys was Tayveon Smith, with a second and third in the meet. The 400 meter relay team also placed third.
