One of two INDOT highway projects that was set for closure Monday will now be delayed a week.
The bridge deck overlay on State Road 67 over Smalls Creek has been moved to start on Monday, May fourth. That project, once started, will close the highway just south of Bruceville. It will affect that part of the highway for around a month.
One closure is still planned for Monday; that is onon State Road 241 between Reel Road and Monroe City Road. That is for a pipe replacement; it is forecast to take two days to complete, weather permitting. The detour will use U-S 50 to State Road 57 to State Road 61. Local traffic will have access to the point of closure.
