The re=assembly work continues on the Memorial Bridge in downtown Vincennes. Workers are re-mounting the façade they was taken apart some years ago for cleaning and repairs.
The Memorial Bridge is being overseen by the National Park Service, and locally by the George Rogers Clark National Park. Chief ranger Joe Herron knows the process is steady on the structure– but it can be a bit more complex than it seems.
Work to put the detailed facades back in place will continue through the spring and at least into the summer months.
