Steven Bruce Alton, 77, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on April 18, 2026, at his residence in Vincennes.
He was born on February 17, 1949, to the late John & June Alton in Vincennes. Steven was a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School, and following high school, he served his country before being honorably discharged.
Steven loved to collect. He enjoyed finding and collecting antiques but particularly loved anything Beatles he could find. He loved to listen to music, whether the Beatles or the Chieftains; and loved to build or fix things. Steven was known for being able to repair mostly anything with his two hands. He also enjoyed Harley Davidsons.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Anne Coomer Alton; and his parents, John and June.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Nuanah and her husband Richard; his grandchildren, Hayden Dillon, Maxwell Nuanah, and Louisa Nuanah; his sister, Johnette Kelley and her husband Jan; and his nephews, Joshua & Jeremy Kelley.
Visitation for Steven will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 3:00-6:00pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes, IN 47591.
