The Vincennes Lincoln Alices gave up five runs in the first two innings, as they lose to North Posey on the road 6-2. Cooper Collins led for the Alices with three doubles and both LHS runs batted in. Paxton Smith took the loss for the Alices.
The Rivet Patriots were down 7-0 after three innings at Bloomfield, but then scored the next 19 straight as they defeat the Cardinals 19-7 in six innings. Jayden Thacker and Hunter Bilskie both homered in the game, and both drove in four to lead the way. Thacker got the win for the Patriots on the mound.
The North Knox Lady Warriors softballers used 13 Shoals errors, and a 13-run third inning, to defeat the Jug Rox 24-14.
The South Knox Lady Spartans were also softball winners last night, 9-8. Over Lawsrenceville. Braelyn Gladish went 3-3 to lead the way, with two doubles in the game; Gladish also got the pitching win for the Lady Spartans.
In middle school track:
The South Knox Spartans defeated Washngton and Vincennes Lincoln with 63 and a half, to Washington’s 35 and a half, and CMS’s 35. In the girls’ meet, Clark took that one with 59 points, compared to 45 for South Knox and 30 for Washington.
