The Rivet Patriots scored three in the third and three in the fifth as part of an 8-1 win yesterday over Evansville Bosse. Brody Shots had three hits—including two doubles and a single. Cale Bezy and Henry Holka also doubled in the win. The victory on the mound went to Hunter Biskie.
The North Knox Warriors and Bloomfield Cardinals each scored six in the second, but two single runs from the Cardinals led them to an 8-6 victory. Carter Becher led the way for the Warriors with three hits. Tyler Clark took the loss for the Warriors.
In softball, the South Knox Lady Spartans defeated Princeton 6-3. Kenna Rehwald got the win, a complete game performance. Braelyn Gladish led at the plate, with a three for four performance including a triple.
The South Knox tennis team won over Princeton 5-0. Winners included Ally Hayden, Elaina Watjen, and and Reagan Harrington, along with the doubles teams of Halle Carmean and Emily Dreiman, and Maggie Vieke and Jenna Bloebaum.
