Training has ramped up for Vincennes firemen, especially with a must-appreciated break in major fires affecting occupied homes. Vincennes Fire Chief Brett Bobe is thankful for the break.
However, Bobe knows that break could ends in a snap—especially with fire hazards in many houses hiding in plain sight.
City fire crews remind everyone to check appliances and heating sources, and to ensure their residences are as safe as they can be against fire hazards.’
