V-U About to Start Five-Year Improvement Plan

Vincennes University is about to start on a new strategic plan to take the University forward from he through the end of this decade.
The five-year plan will start next year, and last through 2030. It is called “Building Futures through Excellence, Innovation, and Opportunity.” The plan is a dynamic vision to advance V-U’s mission, and improve its impact on the state and nationwide.
Vincennes University president Chuck Johnson believes the plan will be ready to further the University’s academic mission, starting with the new year. The actual plan itself was adopted a year ago, in 2024. As part of its commitment to Johnson, the Board agreed to extend his contact another year; it now runs through the end of 2028.
