Kyle Thomas Doane, age 55, passed away on November 24, 2025, in his hometown of Vincennes, Indiana. Born on August 15, 1970, to Thomas and Judith Ann “Minderman” Doane, Kyle grew into a man of great character with a passion for life’s simple pleasures.
He shared a bond with his significant other, Sonja Russell, and her daughter, Felicia, both of Vincennes, whose companionship brought joy into his days. Kyle will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter, Kathryn “Grace” Doane (significant other Nick Moreland), his devoted parents, of Oaktown, IN, and his sister, Tracy Earley (Bert), of Vincennes, IN.
Kyle’s professional journey was marked by his expertise and affable nature, making him a respected sales representative at Vincennes Industrial Supply. His dedication to his work and natural leadership skills culminated in a proud appointment to the company’s Board of Directors. Kyle’s contributions to the industry and his rapport with colleagues and clients alike will be fondly remembered.
Beyond his career accomplishments, Kyle’s interests painted a portrait of a man deeply connected to the well-being of both body and spirit. An advocate for nutrition and health, he embraced a life that balanced discipline with the pursuit of happiness. His love for fly fishing spoke to his appreciation for nature and the serene moments spent along Indiana’s waterways. With a guitar in hand, Kyle could often be found strumming melodies that resonated with the hearts of those who had the pleasure of listening. Meanwhile, as a gun enthusiast, Kyle reveled in the history and craftsmanship of his collection, a hobby that he approached with respect and knowledge.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mariah Creek Christian Church. A service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Mariah Creek Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Matt Hoffman. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
