Theresa M. Hill 69, a soul of warmth and love, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at her son’s home in Otwell, Indiana. Born on September 29, 1956, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Earl and Clara Ruckreigle Clements, Theresa lived a life full of joy, sharing her endless care with everyone around her.
Theresa, affectionately known to her friends and family simply as Theresa, wove a tapestry of memories that spanned across the lives of the many she touched. A beloved mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength that will be remembered by all. She was a beacon of support to her children, Janell Kessler, Bryan Hill and his spouse Carrie, and Courtney Seal with her husband Clint. Her grandchildren, Alyssa Kessler (Audrey), Falyn Brandies, and Britany Hill, who were the apples of her eye, will forever cherish the sweet moments and life lessons she imparted.
Though she has joined her brothers, Rick and Mark Clements, in eternal rest, Theresa’s spirit will continue to resonate in the lives of those she adored. Her canine companions, Duffy, Charlie, and Deuce, will undoubtedly miss her gentle touch and warm presence.
Theresa’s interests were reflections of her nurturing soul. She found tranquility in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that served as tangible expressions of her love. Her gardens were a testament to her patience and dedication, while her delight in feeding the hummingbirds showcased her appreciation for nature’s splendor. An avid reader, Theresa traveled to countless worlds through the pages of her books, and her passion for animals was a clear depiction of her generous and caring nature.
To know Theresa was to know her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her family and friends. Her lifelong friend, Shelly Stearns, and close confidante, Will Kessler, among many others, will carry forth the light of her wisdom and the laughter they shared.
In her departure, Theresa leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. As the sun continues to rise and set, we find solace in knowing that Theresa is at peace, wrapped in the beauty of the eternal gardens she now tends.
