Chelsea Jean Gugliotta-Moore, age 39, of Vincennes, IN, passed away on July 22, 2025, in Vincennes, after a life devoted to family, faith, and community. Born May 16, 1986, in Louisville, KY, to Frank Richard II and Sonya Ruth (Rogers) Gugliotta, Chelsea was raised in a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. From an early age, her kind heart and vibrant spirit shone brightly—qualities that would define her throughout her life.
Chelsea graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Her intelligence, determination, and magnetic personality guided her through a wide range of meaningful endeavors. On July 10, 2019, she married the love of her life, Eric Moore. Together, they shared 16 vibrant years and built a life centered around their most tremendous pride: their daughters—Mauriana Eve (13), Gabriela Elise (11), and Alexandria Evalina (2). Chelsea’s deep devotion to her children was evident in every moment she spent with them.
A gifted athlete and fierce competitor, Chelsea was an Indiana All-Star basketball player during her senior year of high school and earned a full scholarship to a Division 1 College in Texas. She later shared her passion for the game as a coach, mentor, and beloved sports broadcaster for WUZR Basketball. Whether calling plays on air or cheering from the sidelines, Chelsea’s love for sports and community shone through. She also remained active in the Black Heart Basketball Association, supporting youth and promoting the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Beyond the court, Chelsea found joy in nature and history. She loved swimming, watching deer, and researching her family’s heritage—always seeking connection to the past and presence in the moment. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and as an attendee of First Baptist Church in Vincennes, she nurtured her spiritual community with compassion and grace.
Chelsea is survived by her loving husband, Eric Moore; her cherished daughters, Mauriana, Gabriela, and Alexandria; her devoted parents, Frank Richard Gugliotta II and Sonya Ruth Rogers Gugliotta; her siblings, Frank Richard Gugliotta III (Erin) and Maria Ruth Gugliotta Jackson (Logan); her in-laws, Merle and Kim Moore and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ben “Sonny” and Mary Ruth Rogers, and her paternal grandparents, Frank R. Sr. and Helen Gugliotta.
Chelsea’s radiant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished—a lasting reminder of a life beautifully lived.
