Governor Mike Braun says there are lessons Indiana needs to learn from the failures related to the deadly flooding in Texas.
He says what happened in Texas is a “wake-up call” and says Indiana must determine if its emergency response systems have any weaknesses.
Braun says the Hoosier State needs to reassess how it sends out emergency warnings and how it coordinates disaster response.
Flooding in Texas has killed at least 120 people and thousands have been forced from their homes.
