Daviess county Coroner’s Office Receives Foundation Grant

      The Daviess County Coroner’s Office’s “Beyond the Call” has received a $900 grant from the group “Our Community Foundation” through the 2025 Fast Grant Program. The grant will help the office to purchase computers and necessary supplies.
The Coroner’s office will now buy 2–3 laptops and Microsoft Office licenses dedicated to case documentation, developing grief support materials, creating prevention-focused presentations, and connecting the public to local resources following traumatic death events.
      Currently, the office relies on personal devices to complete these essential non-investigative tasks, as the county budget prioritizes only investigative and uniform-related needs.
