Brandin John Grant, aged 39, of Vincennes, IN, passed away on May 21, 2025, leaving a legacy of laughter and love. Born on March 14, 1986, in Beaver Dam, KY, Brandin’s humor and courageous spirit were a gift to all who knew him.
Brandin was a devoted husband, marrying the love of his life, Natosha “Hill” Grant, on July 22, 2023, in Oaktown, IN. Together they shared a life filled with joy and adventure. Brandin’s passion for life led him to proudly serve his country as a Tech Sergeant in the Air Force, where he formed unbreakable bonds with his comrades and served with honor and distinction.
He had a passion for knowledge, culminating in his attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree. This commitment to learning and growth was evident in every area of his life. Brandin had an affinity for outdoor pursuits, enjoying many rounds of golf and traveling to the beautiful beaches of Destin, FL. His humor was only matched by his love for his furry companions, Tux and Bo, and the countless happy hours spent playing euchre and chess with friends and family members.
Survived by his loving wife, Natosha Grant of Vincennes, IN; maternal grandmother, Nancy Higgnett of Hartford, KY; siblings, Brooke Boyles (Jason) of Oaktown, IN, and Blair Grant (August Ry McCormick) of Bloomington, IN; his parents-in-law, Stephen and Debra Hill of Bicknell, IN; sister-in-law, Tosha Cafin (Josh) of Palestine, IL; and Tondra Nagle (James) of Vincennes, IN, Brandin’s life was rich with connection and mutual care. He was also an adored uncle to five nephews – Matthew and Jeffery Donaldson, Theren Nagle, Kaden, and Kolten Boyles – and three nieces – Mirah and Anniah Cafin, and Opal McCormick. His extended family of cousins, aunts, and uncles will miss him dearly.
Brandin’s grandparents, John A. Higgnett, Paul L. and Colleen “Townsley” Grant, along with his uncle Danny Grant and aunt Alice Robinson, preceded him in death. They have now welcomed him into eternal rest.
Funny, loving, and courageous until the very end, Brandin John Grant lived his life with an open heart and a ready smile. His memory will continue to light the lives of those he touched. The family will remember Brandin in private gatherings, celebrating a life well-lived and a soul that will forever enrich their memories. Brandin’s laughter, loyalty, and love for life are his everlasting gifts to us all.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mariah Creek Christian Church. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mariah Creek Christian Church. Burial will follow at Mariah Creek Cemetery.
