Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie gave a year-end projects update at yesterday’s Board session.
Among other projects, V-W-U highlighted two major projects over the year. Bouchie says the biggest was the 15-year wait for final FEMA approval of the Vincennes City Levee.
The other main project was completion of the newest Vincennes Water tower. That is located near the corner of Hart Street and Richard Bauer Drive. Bouchie informs everyone tower operation could start as early as today.
The water tower will be part of growth preparation for Vincennes’ east side. It will also assist with water supply to the tower’s south—including the U-S 41 Industrial Park.
