The return of cold weather today to the area shows us we need to be ready for the next possible winter weather event in the area.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is also prepared for any winter weather that may hit. INDOT spokesman Gary Bryan says the winter preparation begins back when the weather is still relatively warm. Bryan also knows with INDOT, it is all hands on deck when a major winter weathermaker makes its way into this area.
Earlier this month, INDOT crews did an “all-call” test run to familiarize themselves with the state, U-S, and Interstate highways across the Vincennes district.
