Local merchants wil take advantage of another year of buy one, get one free Knox County Chamber of Commerce E-gift cards this year. The electronic gift cards may be used for purchase at any participating Knox County Chamber retailer.
The gift cards typically sell out within hours each year. Knox County Chamber director Jamie Neal, says the rapid sale of the cards has set a record.
The E-gift cards can be spent during the Christmas shopping season, or at any other time during the next year. Retailers say they also give a boost to traditionally sluggish sales from January to March of the following year.
